LPG hose and regulator assemblies sold with portable refrigerators are being recalled because of safety fears.
Overseas Industrial Corporation of Taiwan advised through newspaper advertisements today that its "Overseas Model RA201" LPG regulator and hose assembly may have the potential to separate under pressure, causing a risk of injury.
The affected appliances -- Portable 3-way fridge model AC-PRO XC-35L and Portable 3-way fridge model XC-35LPP -- were sold from December 2003 to December 2004.
Owners of appliances bought outside that period should also check regulators and hoses.
Purchasers are advised to call Brown and Watson International Pty Ltd toll free on 0800 245 623.
