Lower Hutt police investigate shooting

Lower Hutt police are this morning hunting a man who allegedly shot his neighbour with a slug gun yesterday evening.

The armed offenders squad was called to the suburb of Naenae, where an area was cordoned off and many residents forced outside.

The victim suffered minor injuries.

Inspector Ian Harris of police central communications said the alleged shooter was still at large this morning.
