KEY POINTS:
Emergency services have attended the scene of a crash on State Highway 2, south of the Haywards Hill turn-off in Lower Hutt.
A south-bound car went through the median barrier and was on its side in the northbound lanes. Both the north and southbound lanes were blocked, delaying traffic in both directions.
It is believed the driver of the car suffered minor injuries
