The man who jumped the dock in the Lower Hutt District Court and knocked a police prosecutor unconscious in his escape has been caught.
Sabbath Mohi went on the run after his escape on September 5.
He was arrested in Lower Hutt without incident this afternoon, police said.
He will remain in police custody before appearing in the Wellington District Court tomorrow morning facing charges of escapes custody, aggravated wounding and robbery.
Police thanked the public for their assistance in finding and catching Mohi.
