Bottles of soft drink thought to have been contaminated with chlorine have been recalled.
Almost 40,000 1.25 litre bottles of raspberry soft drink carrying the Basics, Budget and Jolly labels have been recalled by the manufacturer after complaints from several customers.
A spokesman for Bevpac NZ limited said the problem may have been caused by chlorinated water being used in the manufacturing process during a 17-hour period last week.
He said the drink should not be harmful to anyone but anyone worries about their health should go to a doctor.
