The Air Force says people in the central North Island should not be alarmed if they see low-flying Hercules aircraft over the next four days.
They will be taking part in the bi-annual, low-level tactical flying exercise from Ohakea air base, including formation flying, operations from various landing zones, dropping of light equipment to targeted drop zones and tactical night flying.
The exercise moves to the Nelson/Marlborough region on September 12.
