Low-fat pies in schools

Low-fat pies are being introduced to Christchurch school tuck shops as part of a move to combat obesity.

Sunnydays Foods managing director Dave Mitchell said the pies, called Metro, were "a hit with the school tuck shops because they meet the Heart Foundation criteria on fat and salt - and the children love the taste of them".
