Lover's revenge

A Welcome Bay man went to his former partner's house with a bucket full of dog excrement and poured it over her carpet and bed.

John King, 49, told police he knew what he did was wrong.

He pleaded guilty in Tauranga District Court yesterday to a charge of wilful damage at his ex's Judea address on October 29.

King was convicted and ordered to pay $200 reparation - $100 for the cleaning bill and $100 for the emotional harm caused to his victim.
