'Lovely Bones' writer to speak in Auckland

American writer Alice Sebold, whose bestselling novel The Lovely Bones will be Peter Jackson's next film project, has been confirmed for the Auckland Writers & Readers Festival in May.

Sebold will speak at the festival's opening night on May 19, with writers Alan Hollinghurst and Augusten Burroughs.
