High-profile rape victim Louise Nicholas will be in Wairarapa next Tuesday sharing her story as part of White Ribbon Day activities.
Mrs Nicholas will be speaking in the Frank Cody Lounge, Masterton, at 7pm, about abuse and violence and how she sought justice. She will also be at a book signing at Paper Plus, Queen St, from 11am where white ribbons will be given out.
Also White Ribbon Riders travelling the country will arrive in Featherston about 3pm at Cherry Tree Park pledging their stance against violence.
Everyone is invited to attend all the events highlighting the need to stamp out violence.
Domestic violence goes beyond just the victims, said Violence Free Network Wairarapa co-ordinator Gerry Brooking.
