Four people lost in bush on the Coromandel Peninsula have been found and will today be brought out by a police search and rescue team.
Waikato police Senior Sergeant Michael Henwood said the group, who also had fishing rods with them, got lost in a reserve near Wilson Bay, south of Coromandel town, about midday yesterday.
He said police search and rescue teams had since found the group as they were able to liaise with them via cellphone.
"They've got cellphone contact but they haven't been brought out as yet."
