KEY POINTS:
Trains on Auckland's troubled western line ran one hour late this afternoon and nobody was able to give passengers an explanation.
A train that was scheduled for 5.20pm never came and resulted in many passengers missing connecting transport, a passenger said.
There would be no refund or compensation passengers were told.
However two angry customers received complimentary tickets.
