KEY POINTS:
North Shore City Council will not appeal against an Environment Court decision about development of a 360ha subdivision on Long Bay's rural backdrop.
The council's plan allowed for 1800 to 2000 sections and developer Landco sought 3000 to 3200.
The court's decision came in around the middle of those figures.
The council says it will work with the developer and the Long Bay-Okura Great Park Society to prepare a draft structure plan for court approval next March.
