Revamped science labs and netball courts at Chanel College are done, dusted and already making a difference.
The science rooms, which received a $530,000 revamp, have been modernised to allow the delivery of progressive science programmes.
The project was to have been launched three years ago but the Christchurch earthquakes unfortunately stalled the project, which also included the quake strengthening of adjoining corridors.
Another revamp at Chanel College involved the resurfacing and floodlighting of the netball courts that was completed over the last school break.
Students have been making full use of the upgraded courts and the resurfacing means Chanel College can now cater for a much wider range of sports than they did previously.
