Lois Tolley's aunt always looked forward to her niece stopping by before work to give her a hug and natter about the world's problems. Those visits are memories now.
It has been just over a week since Tolley was found dead in her Upper Hutt home. Family and friends have been left reeling from the loss and police still don't know who killed her.
A funeral for Tolley held at the Heretaunga Christian Centre on Saturday was filled with people who had come to celebrate the life of a 30-year-old "who was just finding her way".
Tolley's aunt said she was struggling with the loss of her niece.
"Loie was a young lady trying to find her own way in life. She was really starting to achieve the goals she set herself and she didn't stop until she reached those."
