A logging truck has rolled on the Lewis Pass this morning, spilling logs across the road and completely blocking State Highway 7.
The truck rolled at about 6am between Maruia Springs and Springs Junction, police said.
The driver escaped with minor injuries.
The truck lost its entire load in the accident, spilling logs across the road and blocking the highway.
Staff at the scene said the Lewis Pass would be blocked between four to five hours, and there were no available detours.
