Danyon Loader's dancing career drowned last night as he was voted off TVNZ's Dancing with the Stars.
Wearing a plunging chest-baring v-neck top, the Olympic swimming gold medallist and his dance partner, Hayley Holt, failed to impress the judges with an "all right" rumba.
Judge Carol-Anne Hickmore said: "I really wanted you to make me get goosebumps, but I didn't. I wanted you to tell me you were totally in love."
Asked after their lacklustre rumba whether there were any sparks between them, Loader said they were "very good friends".
Their departure leaves Lorraine Downes and partner Aaron Gilmore, and Beatrice Faumuina with partner Brian Jones, to go toe to toe in next week's final.
