New World Supermarket's Little Shop Collectables promotion has been a hit with children and adults alike, says Masterton manager Ivan Birch.
Mr Birch is holding a trading event for the miniature products, starting 9am today at the Masterton store and running to 11am.
He said it was a unique promotion for New Zealand. "It's caught us all by surprise," he said, when asked how well the promotion had gone.
The promotion allowed customers who spent over $40 at New World to get a miniature product. There are 44 products in the set.
"I think it's brought out the inner child in all our customers," he said.
