Picton's EcoWorld Aquarium and Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre has recieved a very special earthquake refugee.
A little blue penguin named Little Tremor was found wandering on a track in the Sounds the day after the Kaikoura earthquake.
Two tourists from Holland found Little Tremor and took him to the Picton Veterinary Clinic.
Little Tremor is thought to have been abandoned by his parents.
The baby penguin will live at EcoWorld for the next few months before he is released into the wild.
