A small bottle of liquid sent to the NZ Herald mail room on Tuesday did not contain the Ebola virus, test show.
The bottle was sent to the Victorian Infectious Diseases Reference Laboratory in Melbourne, which had advised the ebola virus was not present.
A similar package was also sent to Parliament on Tuesday.
