Some cheeky Chiefs fans managed to get one back over the Lions after their thrashing at Waikato Stadium on Tuesday, but not on the pitch this time.
Some Lions fans who are travelling in the SKY Sports UK-sponsored campervan would have been left perplexed after discovering their vehicle wrapped in plastic while visiting Ngarunui Beach at Raglan yesterday.
One eagle-eyed Raglan resident managed to get a photo of the camper, left stitched up near the Raglan Surf Life Saving Club.
Vanessa Carmody said she wasn't sure what the reaction of the van's occupants were as she left before they'd come back, but she posted the photo on the local Facebook page which garnered a few laughs.
