Linda Rosemary Parker, a community carer, was last seen leaving a disabled client's home for
a doctor's appointment in the CTV building shortly before it collapsed in the earthquake.
Linda, 50, was a volunteer for Timeout Carers Bureau, assisting disabled adults and children and was a ministry worker at the South City Christian Centre.
Her friend Jackie Cotter described Linda as a "great mum with a selfless heart for serving others in practical ways and an advocate for those who struggled - a great example of how Jesus wants us to show love for others. I miss her so much".
Linda is survived by daughters Cara and Caitlin.
