Eketahuna Hounds added to their good season with a resounding 3-0 win over Douglas Villa Knights at McJorrow Park in Masterton on Saturday.
They were rewarded towards the end of the first half when Corey Julius slotted a lovely pass through to Eden Aajeson to slide in a nicely finished goal.
The second half began with Douglas Villa looking very strong and stringing together some great passes.
After a goalmouth scramble at Eketahuna's defensive end the ball was quickly fed through to the attack and Jesse Miller scored the first of his goals.
Douglas Villa kept pressing forward showing some great touches. Jesse Miller scored his second goal a superb curving shot from some way out, which gave just enough time for a final push for Douglas Villa but to no avail.
Lights out for Knights at Masterton meet
