The Gambling Helpline, which was under threat of closure, has been saved.
The Ministry of Health says it has extended its contract with the helpline until June 30, 2010.
In April the Gambling Helpline said its four-year partnership with the ministry would end in October.
However, the ministry announced yesterday that a new contract had been agreed.
