The mother of Alex Fisher has pleaded for media to "stop plastering our pain all over" and allow the family time to deal with their tragedy.
Sandra Fisher, who is also the mother of the man facing charges related to the disappearance of his younger brother, posted her comments on the Wairarapa Times-Age Facebook page yesterday.
The body of 10-year-old Alex was found at Waitarere Beach a week ago after an exhaustive three-day search.
Eric McIsaac, 25, appeared in the Levin District Court on Wednesday facing three related charges.
