Legal staff strike threat

Ministry of Justice staff will begin industrial action today, after pay negotiations failed.

More than half of the ministry's 1700 staff, many of whom work in courts and tribunals, will start work-to-rule action, which will escalate to strike action if a settlement is not reached, the Public Service Association said.
