Lawyer Patricia McConnell has been appointed chief adjudicator of the Weathertight Homes Resolution Service.
Building Issues Minister Clayton Cosgrove said Ms McConnell, a Rotorua-based barrister, had established an excellent reputation as principal tenancy adjudicator with the Tenancy Tribunal.
She replaces Paul Skinner.
