Former Huntly lawyer Mike Meyrick has been fined $3000 for possessing pornography on his computer and floppy disks.
In Hamilton District Court yesterday, Judge Geoff Ellis found Meyrick, 57, guilty on four charges of possessing an objectionable publication.
Meyrick was fined $750 on each charge.
He was found not guilty on 26 similar charges.
The charges related to 204 images found on a computer's hard drive and 176 images on 18 floppy disks seized by police from his Huntly home.
The Crown contended the images featured child pornography, bestiality, and punishment.
Meyrick copped a $10,000 fine in December after being found guilty of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
He declined to comment on his latest convictions.
