"Next stop ... entire world domination." That was how Wanganui Mayor Michael Laws ended a post on his Facebook page after a meeting with the Ruapehu District Council.
Both bodies are unhappy with the Horizons Regional Council which covers their area. Laws favours a unitary authority for Wanganui and Ruapehu.
