Lauaki case put off until next month

All Black Sione Lauaki's appearance in Hamilton District Court tomorrow on a assault charge has been adjourned until February 1.

The Chiefs loose forward faces a charge of common assault after being arrested in Hamilton in the early hours of January 20 for allegedly assaulting a 26-year-old man.

Chiefs CEO Gary Dawson said the adjournment was to allow Lauaki's legal team more time to prepare.
