Auckland's rail meeting has been delayed - because the mediator's train was late.
The Rail and Maritime Transport Union was due to sit down to negotiations with train operator Transdev at 9am.
But just before 9.30 union spokesman John Kerr told Newstalk ZB the meeting was yet to start.
He said the mediator had only just arrived, after the train arrived late.
Services on some Auckland lines have been significantly reduced since Monday, as train drivers refuse to work overtime in protest at plans to remove train managers and put more responsibility on train drivers.
