KEY POINTS:
GREYMOUTH - One of the last official links with the 1941 West Coast mass murderer Stanley Graham was severed this week with the death of William Thomas (Bill) Roughan in Whangarei.
He was 94.
Mr Roughan was one of the police party that tracked Graham through the Kowhitirangi bush, south of Hokitika, during the 13-day manhunt that left seven dead.
David Roughan confirmed from Whangarei today that his father had been involved in the manhunt, but said he seldom talked about it.
