Last farewell for Clevedon pupil

Pupils of Clevedon School will farewell their schoolmate Brittany Davis at her funeral on Thursday.

The 10-year-old died on Friday when she was hit by a truck after getting off the school bus with her sister about 3.30pm.

Board chairman Martin Grant says the school choir and kapa haka group will perform at the funeral. Brittany was a member of both groups.

Mr Grant says the wake will be held in the school hall.
