Traffic was slowed but lanes were not blocked after a large truck rolled on the roundabout at the junction of State Highway 1 and Port Marsden Highway.
The truck, which appeared to be full of rubble or other demolition site material, went over at about 1.10pm yesterday.
Police and Fire Service attended the crash, which took several hours to clear.
No other vehicle was involved.
