The Fire Service is rushing to put out a scrub fire in the Far North.
Authorities were alerted to the blaze near Kerikeri around 2.30pm.
A Fire Service spokesperson said they were struggling to get access to the site and had deployed a helicopter to attempt to douse the fire.
