Police are remaining tight-lipped about their investigation into the deaths of Raymond and James Fleet but say a large team of detectives from around the country are still busy on the case.
It's been six weeks since the bodies of the two men were found in a forest near Mamaku, on the outskirts of Rotorua, and nearly two months since they were last seen alive.
A police media spokesman, speaking on behalf of the inquiry team, told the Rotorua Daily Post this week the investigation was ongoing.
"A large number of staff from around the country are currently working on the investigation."
They declined to comment on whether they were confident of making an arrest.
