The Act Party and the Conservatives have received large donations from their wealthy benefactors ahead of the September election, the latest party returns show.
Electoral Commission records for the last month show that Act founder and entrepreneur Alan Gibbs donated $100,000 to the party earlier this month.
Conservatives leader Colin Craig grew his party's war chest by donating another $36,000. This followed donations by Mr Craig of $45,000, $50,000 and $42,000 last year.
Parties must publicly disclose all donations of more than $30,000.
