The children got their faces painted, and played on the swings and the bouncy castle, while the adults digested the plans to revitalise Lansdowne.
Connecting Communities hosted the Lansdowne Community Fair at Burling Park on Saturday as an opportunity to showcase the planned improvements to the Lansdowne Shopping Village and for residents to give their feedback.
The Lansdowne Neighbourhood Planning Group, comprised of Connecting Communities and Masterton District Council representatives, have been working on plans to improve the atmosphere of the village, improve landscaping and provide better parking.
The fair including facepainting, a sausage sizzle and various children's races and activities.
