KEY POINTS:
Manukau City Council is keeping a close eye on a hillside threatening to come down on the road into Kawakawa Bay.
One lane of the road remains blocked after a slip at the beginning of the month. Warning signs have been erected because of concern about the potential for a second slip.
The council is seeking expert advice on what action it should take to ensure the road is safe.
