Joseph Potangaroa will kick off next month's 'Wairarapa Word' with Stories of our Landscape, accompanied by Gaye Sutton.
The session, at the Tarragone Cafe in Carterton on Sunday October 5 from 3pm, is an afternoon of spiritual and historical stories of Wairarapa.
Potangaroa, a children's writer and author, is a kaituhituhi of the Ngati Hamua hapu of Rangitane o Wairarapa.
Gaye Sutton, Carterton, is a storyteller, poet and author.
The event is supported by the Carterton District Creative Communities Scheme.
