Land Rover is celebrating its 60th birthday this year.
The Series 1 was first revealed at a motor show in Amsterdam in 1948 and still has links to the marque's current range.
In New Zealand, celebrations were held in the South Island with a convoy of various Land Rover models travelling almost 1500km over a week from Auckland to Wanaka to attend the bi-annual Warbirds over Wanaka event.
Land Rover was the official vehicle supplier.
