This cute Labrador-cross puppy would be the perfect companion for a committed owner with the time to turn her into a well-disciplined dog.

Five-month-old Rosie is waiting patiently for someone to adopt her and give her the new life she longs for.

SPCA canine attendant Max Burndred says Rosie would be best suited to a well-fenced home with confident cats and sensible children.

"She's a neat wee pup who just needs some confidence-building," she says.
