Wharfies at the Ports of Auckland still plan to strike on Labour Day despite agreeing to talks with the company starting the day after.
About 250 port staff from the Maritime Union of New Zealand went on strike for a third time on Wednesday in support of a 4.5 to 4.9 per cent pay rise. The company has offered around 3.25 per cent.
