KEY POINTS:
Laboratory company Healthscope's legal bid to set up shop with state funding in the Auckland community pathology market starts in the Court of Appeal at Wellington today.
It is appealing against the 2007 High Court ruling which set aside the $560 million contract between its subsidiary Lab Tests Auckland and the region's three district health boards.
The contract had been challenged by incumbent contractor Diagnostic Medlab.
