More than 1200 medical laboratory workers will walk off the job for a week after failing to reach an agreement with employers over pay.
The union members will begin their industrial action on November 29, Medical Laboratory Workers Union national president Stewart Smith said.
The labs involved were the New Zealand Blood Service, district health boards nationwide, Tairawhiti in Gisborne, Wellington Pathology, Medlab South and Southern Community Laboratories.
