Senior drama students at Kuranui College need help to strike out on the greatest trip ever planned at the school.
A group of 20 students plan to travel to England, Scotland and France during the spring school holidays that start in late September to visit theatres, museums, landmarks and William Shakespeare's world-famous Globe Theatre in London.
Kuranui principal Geoff Shepherd said the planned trip was the biggest the college had undertaken and was "a unique way for our students to gain credits towards their internal and external drama assessments".
"More importantly, it provides them with an amazing opportunity to put what they are learning about Shakespeare and European theatre into context."
To help bolster funds for the students, who were each responsible for their individual fundraising towards the trip, the college had organised a Winter Solstice Market that will run on Saturday between 9am-2pm in the college auditorium.
