The sentencing of a New Zealander convicted of killing his American wife in their New York apartment has been rescheduled to next month as his lawyer appeals against the guilty verdict.
Blazej Kot, from Auckland, slashed Caroline Coffey's throat and left her body in a state park near New York on June 2 last year.
He was due to be sentenced yesterday but his lawyer Joe Joch is preparing a motion to have the guilty verdict set aside, reported the Ithacajournal.com website.
