Koreans seek film locations in NZ

The producers of the biggest-budget Korean movie production yet are sizing up New Zealand as a location.

The inaugural New Zealand Film Seminar in Seoul heard that several joint projects were planned.

Trade Commissioner Andrew French said that a Korean company, Blue Storm, was in negotiations to make a $33 million war epic, Christmas Cargo.

The film tells the story of 100,000 refugees trapped in the North, and their attempt to escape.
