UPDATE - A bus carrying Korean tourists crashed in King Country just before midday today, leaving one passenger critically injured and three others in serious condition.
The bus had 15 people on board when it rolled onto its side about 10km north of Otorohanga.
Waikato police spokeswoman Kris McGehan said the group of 14 Korean tourists was travelling from Auckland. The bus driver was also Korean.
One tourist was in a critical condition and three others were seriously injured, Ms McGehan said.
The remaining passengers and the bus driver had moderate to minor injuries.
Emergency services were at the scene near the intersection of State Highway 31 and Tihiroa Road.
The road was closed with diversions at Te Kawa Road for south bound traffic and north bound traffic onto Ouruwhero Road.
It was the second serious crash in the Otorohanga area in a week.
On Friday night Auckland woman Sumaira Suhaib, 21, died in Waikato Hospital after the car she was a passenger in hit a bank north of the King Country town.
