Prime Minister John Key was congratulated on New Zealand's Rugby World Cup win by Korean President Lee Myung-bak today as the pair met in Seoul.
At the start of the meeting in President Lee's official residence - the Blue House - President lee also congratulated Mr Key on winning last year's election and noted that the World Cup win would have helped him.
"It didn't hurt," Mr Key replied.
The pair are expected to discuss free trade talks, which have been on hold for the past two years.
Mr Key is in Seoul for the Nuclear Security Summit which will begin tomorrow. The leaders of 54 nations are in Seoul for it - including US President Barack Obama who arrived this morning and is visiting the Demilitarized Zone today.
